Foundation

Shane and his wife Heidi founded the Battier Take Charge Foundation in 2008: an organization that provides resources for furthering the education of underserved youth. With a strong presence in Miami, Detroit, Houston, and Philadelphia, the Foundation drives the “Do Well, Do Good” mission to those in the community. Since 2008, the Battier Take Charge Foundation has awarded 2.3 million in scholarship funds to over 100 scholars.
